How It Works
Your Guide to Buying Cars from Japan
1Choose your car
First, choose your car—either by submitting a request form or selecting from our inventory.
2Payment of the deposit / car
If you choose a car from our inventory, you can pay either the full amount or a deposit by card. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer or cash, just let us know. Once your payment—deposit or full amount—is received, you will get a confirmation email within 24 hours.
If you are purchasing a car by request at this stage, no payment is required.
3Payment of the Invoice
If you pay only a deposit or require special transportation, such as a container, we will issue an invoice for the remaining balance.
If you are purchasing a car by request and we have found your car, we will issue an invoice for the agreed price so you can make your payment.
The vehicle will only be shipped once full payment is received. Any delay in payment may result in a postponed shipping date.
4Shipping
After full payment has been received, the vehicle will be prepared for shipment. This process usually takes about 14 days. Upon request, shipping can also be arranged via container or air freight (at an additional cost).
5Tracking
Once the exact departure date of the vehicle is set, you will be notified. You will also receive an estimated arrival date. A tracking link will be provided so you can check the current transport status at any time.
6Document Shipment
Immediately after shipping, all necessary documents for the vehicle will be compiled. This includes all paperwork required for vehicle registration, as well as any available service records. Generally, all relevant documents are shipped within 14 business days after dispatch of the vehicle.
7Arrival at the Port
After approximately 6 to 12 weeks, the vehicle should arrive at the destination port. The previously signed customs authorization will be used to clear the vehicle on your behalf.
Please note that delays may occur due to weather conditions, war, port strikes, or other unforeseen events.
8Vehicle Handover
Pickup at the port
The vehicle can be picked up at the port in Cyprus or Malta. Please remember to bring your license plate, as it is required for collection.
Home Delivery (optional)
If pickup at the port is not possible, we also offer delivery directly to your desired location. More details can be found under “More options”.

Why is it worth importing from Japan?
Importing cars from Japan offers three main advantages:
Firstly, they impress with their surprisingly low mileage, due to the short distances in Japanese cities.
Secondly, thanks to the meticulous care given by Japanese car owners, these vehicles are often in almost new condition.
Thirdly, vehicles from Japan are particularly attractive due to competitive prices and favorable exchange rates of YEN (¥) to EUR (€).
How do you inspect and test drive your vehicles?
Our team test drives each existing vehicle for at least 30 minutes. We bring the engine up to operating temperature and test all gears thoroughly.
Are the vehicle prices negotiable?
Unfortunately, not. The pride is already calculated very low, and we can’t do there. The price is fixed.
Can I use my own car as a down payment?
Since we are a Trading company and don't have a shop in Cyprus / Malta and specialize in importing vehicles, we unfortunately cannot accept cars as a deposit.
What is my security when buying a car?
We place great value on transparency and trust. Your payment goes directly to our official Cyprus account, which is specially set up for secure transfers between Japan and Cyprus - without any middlemen.
How is shipping from Japan done?
Your vehicle will be delivered to a port in Cyprus or Malta by container or roll-on-roll-off transport (direct loading by moving the vehicle onto the ship). Transport by plane is rarely considered but is also possible.
How long does it take to import a car from Japan to Cyprus / Malta ?
The time it takes to transport a vehicle from Japan to Cyprus / Malta varies depending on the shipping method:
Container shipping: approx. 6-12 weeks
- Roll-on Roll-Off (RORO): approx. 6-12 weeks
- Airplane: approx. 3-14 days
- Please note that these time frames are estimates and may change depending on specific circumstances.
Where do I pick up the vehicle ?
You can pick up your vehicle from us at the port in Cyprus / Malta. You've also an opption deliverd to yout door step.
What can I do if I notice errors or defects after purchasing the vehicle?
