    Your Guide to Buying Cars from Japan

    Customer Information

    To ensure a smooth purchasing process, we require personal details. Please fill out our online form with your contact information and official residential address (as stated in your ID). Make sure to carefully review all details at the end, as they will be used for further processing and the creation of official documents.

    Payment of the deposit

    After entering your customer details, you will be prompted to pay a deposit of EUR 1,500 to 5.000, depending on the vehicle price. This amount will be deducted from the total purchase price at the final stage. Just so you know, the vehicle will be reserved in your name when you receive the deposit. In the event of cancellation, we reserve the right to retain the deposit.

    Payment of the Invoice

    Transfer the invoice amount within the deadline stated on your invoice. The vehicle can only be shipped after the payment has been received. Any delay in payment may result in a postponed shipping date. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

    Shipping

    After full payment has been received, the vehicle will be prepared for shipment. This process usually takes about 14 days. Upon request, shipping can also be arranged via container or air freight (at an additional cost).

    Tracking

    Once the exact departure date of the vehicle is set, you will be notified. You will also receive an estimated arrival date. A tracking link will be provided so you can check the current transport status at any time.

    Document Shipment

    Immediately after shipping, all necessary documents for the vehicle will be compiled. This includes all paperwork required for vehicle registration, as well as any available service records. Generally, all relevant documents are shipped within 14 business days after dispatch of the vehicle.

    Arrival at the Port

    After approximately 6 to 12 weeks, the vehicle should arrive at the destination port. The previously signed customs authorization will be used to clear the vehicle on your behalf.

    Please note that delays may occur due to weather conditions, war, port strikes, or other unforeseen events.

    Vehicle Handover

    Pickup at the port

    The vehicle can be picked up at the port in Cyprus or Malta. Please remember to bring your license plate, as it is required for collection.

    Home Delivery (optional)

    If pickup at the port is not possible, we also offer delivery directly to your desired location. More details can be found under “More options”.
